After working as a semi-professional for many years, I entered the Royal Northern College of Music on the four year professional performance course. Whilst at college I studied with some of the countries leading vocal tutors. After completing the course I became a full time professional singer, working in many styles, Classical, Musical theatre, Cabaret and Summer season etc. I also promoted my own concerts, helping to showcase up and coming new performers. I have been teaching privately from my studio in central Chorley for twenty five years. I am a fellow of the Incorporated Society of Musicians and a member of Equity.
